Internships

Our firm participates in co-operative education and work-integrated learning placements that are arranged through recognized educational institutions. This ensures that students receive academic credit for their placement experience and that the arrangement is supported by appropriate institutional oversight.

Under Ontario's Employment Standards Act, 2000, work placements must be conducted under a program formally approved by a recognized educational institution, specifically, a secondary school board, a college of applied arts and technology, a university, or a private career college registered under the Private Career Colleges Act, 2005.

To be considered for a placement with our firm, we ask that you take the following steps:

1. Contact your academic institution's co-op, internship, or field placement office to confirm that your program includes a formal work placement component.

2. Obtain written confirmation from your institution that the placement would be conducted under an approved program.

3. Provide us with the name and contact information of your program's co-op or placement coordinator so that we can establish the appropriate agreement with your institution.

We are unable to proceed with any placement arrangement without this institutional documentation in place.
